To mark the 60th Anniversary of this epic struggle ... we move to the freezing cold of the Ardennes Forest in December and January of 1944/45 "The Battle of the Bulge".

the bazooka man takes aim at an enemy tank. His number two
loads one of their rockets.
A prone NCO 'spots' for his sniper. The sniper is using a
specially adapted '03 Springfield with scope.
Unlike the earlier "winter MPs" (actually Germans in
disguise BBA004) this guy is the real McCoy!
A 2-man, heavily laden .30 Cal. machine gun team are pushed
forward by their officer. (3-man set)
A hastily snow-camouflaged Sherman stands forlorn... its
right track has ran over a land mine and the results are
plain for all to see... a badly damaged rear end plus a
split track. Two U.S. tankers consider the problem... and
ponder a solution. RETIRED
Three GI's sit around their camp while one reads "Stars 'n'
Stripes"... The GI's own newspaper. Before long the whole
platoon will get the latest news... RETIRED
While one GI rests on his ribs drinking a coke... the NCO
stands wondering where he got it from! RETIRED
Other guys might relax but some poor schmuck still has to
stand guard duty... well at least this is one cold GI who
can enjoy some hot coffee at the same time.
A superb model of the most famous field piece of the U.S.
Army in WW2. Our "105" has rolling wheels... moveable trail
arms plus 3 gunners to fire the artillery piece. The barrel
is in a fixed position for firing and transporting.
2 additional Artillerymen are also available to crew-serve
this great field piece. In addition we also supply extra
ammo boxes and a pile of shell tubes (used for carrying the
rounds).
A lone "Gunner", rifle slung "humps" three more tubes of
rounds forward to the guns.
A kneeling corporal listens for a "fire order" and grid
coordinates for his buddies about to shell an enemy
location.
A long overdue addition to our U.S. Forces and our first new
MP on a motorcycle for many years. This MP is on the road,
somewhere in Belgium or Luxembourg giving out directions (as
MP's like to do). He's well-wrapped against the winter
weather as well!
A really great little 3-man grouping. Two sitting GI's and
their Nazi Prisoner. These guys can be seated in a variety
of ways inside our new Half-Track or posed outside in a
display or diorama... very useful!
Many years ago one of the first polystone vehicles K&C
ever produced was this U.S. Army Ambulance. Long-since
retired, it has been much sought-after on the "retired"
market and quite expensive too
So, we thought it's
time to do a new one
and a better one too! And here it
is
Perfect for Normandy or North Africa.
Another classic U.S. Army truck of WW2. Our model comes with
driver and fully detachable "canvas" roof. Seated figures or
supplies can be fitted into the rear of the truck.
An army Medic and two GI's carry a wounded buddy on a
stretcher back to the nearest aid station.
Three cold GI's huddle together for warmth.
A kneeling firing B.A.R. gunner is joined by a kneeling
firing rifleman.
A young, frightened conscript is happy to surrender to this
rifle-toting USMP.
Commander of the Sixth Panzer Army, Dietrich had long been a
favorite of the Fuhrer's.
One great-coated German officer reports to his superior on
the tactical situation.
Two mountain troopers make their way through the winter
snow. One listening to his back-pack radio.
Another excellent 2-man set of Mountain Troopers... one
carrying his skis the other with an ice pick.
Four camouflaged and partially camouflaged infantry trudge
through the winter-clad countryside.
Not quite as ubiquitous as the Kubelwagen, the Schwimmwagen
was still a fairly common sight on German battlefronts on
the East and Western Fronts. This new model has the top
cover up and has been given a thin coat of whitewash over
its original grey exterior. A well-wrapped up driver and a
standing Feldgendarme complete the set.
This is K&C's third version of the almost 70 ton monster
and the most accurate and detailed yet! Substantially larger
than the first two versions the new "big cat" has the
alternative "Henschel Turret" as opposed to the earlier
"Porsche" one. The superb, faded three-tone camouflaged and
battle-worn King comes with 3 crew figures and its own
special box.
Three kneeling and sitting Panzer Grenadiers in a variety of
Winter uniform... perfect for the KT or indeed any other
suitable period German fighting vehicle.
A lone Panzer Grenadier, MP44 held ready advances to the
front.
A single standing Panzer Grenadier who can be used on top of
a tank or standing by the side of the road watching events
unfold.
looks equally good as a Battle of the Bulge vehicle with
three new figures, and a completely different winter/snow
paint scheme.
Another mouthful, but a great little vehicle, and useful
too! Radio communications were and are vital to any modern
army and in 1944 the German Army was no exception. This
great looking little truck was built on the well-proved
Steyr 1500 chassis. Here in its original Wehrmacht/factory
finish gray it's got a light frosting of snow as well as a
battle-worn dust and mud layer too. Seen inside the cab is a
very, very cold driver!
And doing just that are these 3 "Volksgrenadiers" making an
attack on an American position. All are in heavy winter
greatcoats with, in two cases, camouflage smocks on top.
An advancing "Volksgrenadier" shouts a warning as his mate
fires a well-aimed round at some retreating GI's.
A great little single figure character study of a
"Volksgrenadier" Rifle on one shoulder and Panzerfaust on
the other. this soldier has seen his fill of war.
War has to go on however and this other single rifleman is
moving stealthily forward on an enemy location.
Lying on the frozen hard ground of the Ardennes this MG42
gunner provides back up fire support to some of his comrades
moving ahead.
A single Waffen SS Panzer Grenadier walks off with a box of
"liberated" U.S. Army field rations.
One of the indelible images of the early days of the German
offensive in the Ardennes was the photo of some dead GI's
lying in a road
without their boots. Some German
soldiers standing nearby are swapping their own poor quality
"ersatz" issue footwear for the much superior and much
warmer American boots.
A pointing Waffen SS trooper indicates something to a
Luftwaffe Field Division rifleman.
This particular artillery piece boasted a lower profile and
a higher rate of fire than its famous predecessor. The
K&C model is dismounted on its four spars ready to go
into action. Virtually all of these guns were primarily used
in the anti tank role both on the East and West Fronts. It
originally entered service in 1943 and served until the end
of the war. Each specially packaged model comes with a
seated gunner and is painted in very typical late war
"splinter camouflage" and is in a "fixed-firing" position.
Five additional gun crew figures are also
available
Again, another figure based on a well-known photo of an SS
NCO walking past a row of burning, abandoned American
vehicles.
One standing "Shell Loader" and a standing gunner.
One kneeling "Shell Handler" and another gunner. Together
this new Flak '41 and its crew make a fine "stand-alone"
centre piece for any collection.
