Winning Lineups
Welcome to Winning Lineups. I've been
fascinated by Kenner (then) or Hasbro (now) Starting Lineups since I
saw them pictured in a catalog inserted in a Ghostbuster playset that
my 4 year old son got as a present on Christmas morning in 1987. We
started buying them that spring and of course, cool toys that they
are, we opened them and played with them. It wasn't until several
years had passed before someone told us that we shouldn't open the
packages. They said they "wouldn't be worth as much".That didn't
really stop us from opening them and displaying (playing with) them,
it just forced us to buy more than one or two of each. Now my son is
19 and of course interested in so many more things than toys. It's
time to start clearing out some of the "extras". By the way, we are
still buying some and the ones we plan on keeping are still opened up
and you know what. The opened ones are still "worth more" to us than
the ones in the packages.

My grading system:
I normally try to describe any defects. If I
just list condition, this is what I mean.
Mint - I don't believe there is such a thing as
mint. Every piece I've ever seen has at least one
defect.
Nrmt - What most people call mint. Can have a
very minor defect like a cardboard ding or price tag.
Exc. - May have more than one minor defect or a
small corner crease.
Okay - Can have several small creases or one
major crease. Maybe a plastic ding that's not real
obvious.
Opener - Multiple major creases or plastic
damage. Figure, card & accessories are undamaged.
Please feel free to e-mail me for specifics on
individual pieces or to have a photo emailed. I will refund the cost
of the figure if you don't feel that it's been accurately
graded.
Terms of Sale:
Please e-mail me with questions to prevent any
misunderstandings. I will describe any defects in detail.
Shipping/handling is actual priority mail postage from 66212 zip code
plus $1 for handling and materials. If you want to know postage
costs, email me your zip code and I will let you know. I have mailed
over 1000 SLUs and have never had a problem. Adequate packing and
attention to detail costs a little more, but it's worth it. I will
ship in Protech dome holders for an additional $2.00 per figure.
Insurance at buyers option/expense. I pack very carefully, but can't
be responsible for what happens after your package leaves my control.
Money orders or Paypal get shipment within 24
hours. I will hold checks for 7 days to clear unless we've done
business before. I have lots of other pieces to sell and will post as
soon as I can. LMK if there are figures you are looking for. Thanks
again!
